Virtual Clinic

Whole-person care, wherever you are.

Are you someone who wants care that fits into your life, not the other way around?

Perhaps you live far from suitable options, in a regional or remote area where access to specialist care feels out of reach.

Or maybe you live with an energy-limiting condition, where every outing needs to be carefully planned.

Perhaps you might simply prefer to access care from a space that feels safe, familiar and yours.

At Zebras Australia, we understand that accessing care shouldn’t add to the load you already carry. You deserve high-quality, whole-person support that’s flexible, gentle and available wherever you are.

"I need real connection — can that even happen through a screen?"

It’s easy to assume that online sessions are a compromise - a backup plan that can never match the depth of in-person care. But what began as a stopgap during the pandemic has become a lifeline for our community.

Over time, our practitioners have refined the art of connection through a screen, creating calm, personalised spaces that honour your energy, your environment and your pace.

Virtual care at Zebras is about doing care differently with the same depth, presence and compassion, no matter where you are.
Imagine having the freedom to focus on what matters most to you.

Picture yourself going about your day with confidence, supported by care thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs.

At Zebras Australia, our team work with you to expand your capacity and move towards a life that feels big, full and bright.

who are we?
We are an audacious Australian healthcare organisation supporting people with rare, chronic and complex conditions — and the practitioners who walk alongside them.

We’ve supported thousands of people on their journey, and we would be honoured to do the same for you.

what is virtual care?
Virtual care at Zebras is an evolved way of delivering our whole-person model and designed to support connection, safety and transformation wherever you are.

We’ve refined our approach to bring the same depth of presence and care you’d experience in person, through secure and easy-to-use online sessions.

Whether you live regionally, experience fatigue or sensory sensitivity, or simply prefer the comfort of home, virtual care makes it possible to receive compassionate, integrative support tailored to your body, brain and mind.

Accessible from anywhere in Australia, our virtual sessions allow you to stay connected with your interdisciplinary team, ensuring continuity of care that moves with you through life’s changes.

Co-created by you and your practitioner, your virtual care plan is designed to:
  • Explore practical ways to manage symptoms and energy throughout your day
  • Learn tools for nervous-system regulation, pacing and rest
  • Build supportive routines that align with your current capacity
  • Integrate mindful movement or body-awareness practices you can do from home

Our practitioners focus on empowering you with the knowledge and confidence to understand your body, make sustainable changes and cultivate ease.

Virtual care can support:
  • Persistent pain
  • Post-viral fatigue, myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) / chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and other energy-limiting conditions
  • Sensory sensitivity or anxiety about clinical settings
  • Mobility or access barriers
  • Ongoing management of rare, complex or chronic conditions
  • Preventing flare-ups and maintaining progress between in-person visits
  • Anyone seeking accessible, whole-person support wherever they are

If this sounds like you, we’d love to support you from your own space.

Three ingredients we consider essential for supporting our community. Our practitioners have made a conscious choice to support those with rare chronic conditions. We are tertiary-trained, and proudly integrate new science with old wisdom into our approach. We acknowledge that science is a moving frontier and are committed to furthering our understanding and sharing new discoveries with you along the way.

Knowledge, passion and experience
Trauma is a fundamental human experience, and our practitioners are sensitive to the needs of those who experience this in an ongoing way. We have carefully considered our virtual space and offering to feel inclusive and nurturing for all bodies, brains and minds, as well as complimenting psyche-based trauma therapies with our own unique approach.
Trailblazing trauma-informed care
To heal is to become whole and you are more than your diagnoses to us. There is an intimacy in our work, as we endeavour to know you as a person, your stories, experiences and aspirations. Our practitioners create individualised plans combining nervous system education, lifestyle guidance and movement programs to nurture sensitive bodies.

We see you as a whole
what makes virtual care at Zebras different?

what can I expect?

Each session draws on our whole-person, trauma-informed approach, guided by practitioners experienced in online connection and body-based care.

  • Building your toolkit… You’ll explore personalised strategies and body-based practices for regulating your nervous system, managing energy and moving through daily life with more ease

  • Learning together… Your practitioner will share insights and education to help you better understand your body, symptoms and patterns, supporting self-awareness and confidence in your own care

  • Collaborative support… With your consent, we can connect with other members of your care team to ensure everyone supporting you is aligned and informed

  • Ongoing connection… After your session, you may receive notes or resources to support continued learning and integration, helping your care unfold beyond the screen

Your session takes place via Zoom in your practitioner’s personal meeting room. This means you can join early and settle in the virtual waiting room before your appointment. No need to wait for links to be sent each time.

You’ll meet with your practitioner just as you would in person, with time to check in, explore what’s happening in your body and work through strategies or practices together.

Do I need any special equipment?
