What I love about virtual care? I love the sense of autonomy and agency people have with a virtual consult. Telehealth allows people to be able to dictate their environment and make any modifications they need in order to feel completely comfortable during a consultation.

What I love about virtual care? How it makes care accessible to people who can’t attend in person - whether because of distance, mobility, limited energy or sensory needs. It helps people conserve time and energy by removing travel time, delayed appointments and navigating unfamiliar environments.

What I lover about virtual care? I love the way it enables me to meet people where they are. I get to see them in their own space, surrounded by the things that make them feel comfortable. I love the little life interruptions like when pets come to say hi, getting to see creative projects and being able to watch people act out exactly what it is they are having trouble with in the way it happens.
